Just purchased this machine used. It seems to be in real good shape but it is very fast. I bought it for my 7 year old and want to slow it down. I know it should have a screw on the throttle assembly but it is not there. There is a small hole where it looks like it used to be. Does the screw just go in there or is there a nut on the inside too? How long of screw do I need to get. Can you adjust the governor? How is this done?

You just need to get another bolt (screw) to go in the throttle assembly. There is a nut for the bolt that locks the bolt where you want it.
No governor cept for that bolt.
The bolt is like 3/4". Metric I'm sure.
