Default Kodiak/Grizzly Clutch Help

I have an 06' Kodiak 400 I bought used. I took primary clutch apart to inspect and found the grease was mostly dry. Came out in small chunks. I finally got everything clean and now need to know how much grease to put on each roller or anywhere else. This is my 1st Yamaha clutch rebuild. Any other tips?

I believe it is an ounce per roller, You can buy the grizz grease at any yamaha dealership to do it with. As far as other tips just make sure that you dont overpack it and that your oring is ok before you reinstall everything.

You might find this article interesting. Its for the grizzly 660, but its the same prcedure for the other ultramatics.

Make sure you get a bit of grease on the center stub, and the cage cup. And one ounce per roller is good. Ive even used the Amsoil waterproof marine grease, much cheaper than the Ultramatic lube, which is about 18 bucks the last time I checked. The Amsoil, is just as good, is about 6 bucks.

The Grizzhopper link above is a very good how-to. I've used it for years.
