Quad pulls the tracks just fine. This was a steep climb to 6500 ft. No belt probles as the PVT just keeps you in the correct speed range for the power range.

The 400HO is hot on tracks, HOWEVER, the jury is still out one which one I like the best. On tires, no contest, HO all the way but on tracks the Hawkeye crawls over deep powder that the HO is burried the tracks in. Definetly faster than the snail pace of Hawkeye. Probably my driving is more of a factor than power in the 400. Just live and learn.

One thing about the 400 on tires is that it is damned peppy. Crack it open from a standstill and the bottom end is real good, but it pulls like crazy in the mid range. Much harder than I expected. A seasoned rider should really appreciate the performance and handling.

just make sure you get the tracks for al terrain and not the one just for snow. dont know what the diff. is but must be one since they sell diff. models. as far as the 2 bikes, the only real differnce is the engine w/ more power and bigger tires i would think but since mogrol has owned both hes the man to listen too.

The main differnece that I can see is that the all season trak seems to use bogey wheels only to support the bottom side of the track wherre the snow only uses fewer bogeys and uses a teflon type slide ( that the snow lubircates) to support the tracks.

Most tracks are well made and although I've never used them, I've heard the Mattrack Lightfoots are pretty draggy and complicated. But If they are tracks, I like them all.
