well after all the other stuff Iv done. Iv seen two or three long travel rear set ups for the lt80. anyone else use these? it shows that you get twice the travel with a works shock. any good or bad? heck whats another 400.00.

You can easily extend the axel but IMO it's a matter of multiplying the torque to the engine cases. Longer swing is the equivelnt of putting a pipe on a wrench to have more leverage. It works till something breaks.

Hey it's only money! Give it a try and write up a product review. Might try a couple Works on that double A arm front end too. Be fun to know how a package like that rides.

as for the front shocks. I want to get everything together and test befor going anymore. you can find them on ebay cheap. I can have them valved and rebuilt for 25.00 a shock
as for the rear I might just put on a works shock and see how it is.

I've done it. I have a quad that has an LT160 front with an extended swingarm in the rear. It works fine. I did not pay 400 for it. The company that made it is out of business but CT racing has a kit very similiar but you have to modify the muffler or use theirs. They use a 12" rear works shock but any 12" shock will work. That kit was 129.
