polaris 350 2-stroke the same as a 400 2-stroke???

Today I managed to get a Polaris 350 2 stroke engine from a friend who had a old trailboss 350 he was parting out. I was looking at it and it seems almost identical to the 400 2 stroke in my scrambler just the head looks differant b/c the spark plug hole is offset and not in the center like on my scrambler. Could this 350 motor just be a smaller displacing 400? Im curious bec i was looking for a spare motor to build up just incase. Are there big bore kits for these 350's?

That was my thoughts exactly that the 350 was just a smaller bore 400. Does anyone here know if this is correct or is the 400 model just a differant engine entirely?

its basically the same there are a few differances besides the cc the 350 is 348 i think and the 400 is only 378 the last 350 2 strokes were in the 93 models then they switced to a 400 for 94 but most of the internal motor parts (not cylinder or head )will interchange the cases are differant only where the counter balancer oil is added , in the front no dipstick on the 350 and they added a dipstick under the carb on the 400 cases,
i had a 350 bored .080 over and was almost the same cc as my stock 400 and ran great call rick ritter he'll make that 350 snawrl and snort

If you have been hearing about it, isn't that a testimonial? I am an RCR fan. Straight forward, knowledgeable, and genuine. Good work, decent prices, and customer support that will knock your socks off. Testimonial X 10. Doc
