which to buy new chinese or used 02 lt50 starter quad?

Looking for starter quad for boy, was wondering which route to take new chinese such as sunl for example $450.00 new or used 2002 suzuki lt50 $750.00 like new. Advice wanted thanks.

depends on age and ability of your rider. for simple rides around the yard the cheapos are ok if a dealer is close to replace broken parts. If your son wants to really ride and enjoy some trails go with a good namebrand atv.

Not many good reviews about the SunL brand. Id go with the Suzuki.

OK. I was in the same boat as you and aggravated over it for about six months. After many posts I decided to go with the LT50 and I am very pleased. A great little machine that, used, is still WAY better then the Chinese models. Just take it in for a tune up after buying and away you go.
