Location of Oil Filter on 1984 Honda ATC Big Red w/Reverse
#1
I've got a "duh" question. I retrieved my old Big Red from deer camp after it has set idle for many years and I'm getting it back in running condition. My problem is I can't remember and can't find the location of the oil filter.
Can anyone give me a clue where to look?

If it is a 200, no filter
If it is a 250, side of the engine there is a cover about 2 1/2" in diameter with 3 bolts holding the cover on (8 mm socket fits them). Take note that one bolt is shorter than the other 2 when you reinstall the cover

The 1984 ATC200ES BigRed has an oil screen under the 24mm oil drain plug .. It also has an oil rotor on the end of the centrifugal clutch , the clutch cover must be removed to clean it ..

Hey, thanks, guys:
My first time on this forum and your responses were great! I'm sure I'll be checking back in before I get the ole Big Red back in the woods.
Thanks again!
