My 01' 660R rapter wont hold a battery charge. I replaced the battery thinking it was the problem but it still seems to drop below 12 votls after riding for a short time. I tried jumping with my vehicle and it works but then loses the charge after a short time again. Can anyone suggest a possible problem?

 

Could be an open wire touching your frame somewhere...

 

maybe your stator(alternator) is fried
