Hello,I`m sending my clutch sheave out this week to be machined.I know a few people on this forum have had it done already.And i`m wondering if theres anything i should know for the re-install. thanx

 

pretty straight forward, someone mentiones there are 3 little nubs on the cast aluminum brace that runs right under the cover. after the mod they said the sheave would rub on them so i ground them off flush in advance and never had any issues. also someone mentioned that the sheave discharged all the grease into the cover and on the belt because with the plate shimmed out it disengages that oring. i am gonna tear mine down and check for that since i have had it done for about 2 months now. i cant comment on that yet but i will before long. just pack er full of grease and you should be ok. you definately wont regret it. i think it is like being a gear lower all the time but with more top end.
