I have a 04 700efi sportsman, it idiols fine fuel pressure is 40psi, when i give it some gas it dieds? ANY help would be great. fuel filter is new and installed in the right direction.

 

does it die or just running crappy. does it start right back up? is the etc set right and have about 1/8" play?

 

It just dies, it does start right back up, I need not ck the etc. it idiols at 1110 i can very slowly get it to 1260 then it dies

 

I do not have the etc unit i just have the cable going to the throttle body, when i try to idiol it up by pulling on the cable end it dies

 

Sendori THANK YOU for the etc idea. I solved the problem, it was etc related. I motor is going into abuggy i am building so the wire harness is layed out. I had 2 sets of brw and blk wires that when connect or dis connected allowed the motor to idiol, but both sets need to be disconnected for the motor to run above idiol.
