Before jumping to replacing parts check the kill switch for proper operation

First check the ETC throttle position (do a search on it). More likely your stator or trigger (pulse) coil than a cdi box. cdi boxes don't fail that often.

You can use an ohm meter and check your stator and pulse coil before spending money on new or rebuit parts.

Check out the stator problem I had, It was just a broken wire.

LOL! That reminds me of a time I spent hours trying to figure out why my atv wouldn't start after a friend rode it and he had shut it off using the kill switch, which I never use, and didn't even think of it until much later. Boy was I kicking myself for wasting so much time! I won't ever forget that one, though! Good thing I didn't bring it to the shop! They would never let me live that one down!
