Default Rancher 420 rear seat questions

Hey guys,

I bought a new quadrax 2k rear seat for my rancher 420. I paid a little extra and got the heated grips. The seat has two wire harness one for the tail lights and one for the grips. Where do I splice in these wires? I want the lights to come on with brake lights, and the grips to only have power when the key is on. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There is a power source plug up by the radiator on the right hand side of the 420. It is up towards the top of the fender attached to the frame. You will need the other end from the Honda dealer to make a factory connection. I have just scotch-locked to the wires. As far as the brake lite, just tap into the wire to the tail light.

Thanks for the reply. I got the grips wired up today, just hooked it straight to the battery. Just need to wire up the tail, brake lights. Is there any unused plugs at the rear of the atv?

If you are going to use this seat to carry an extra passenger, I would highly sugest you purchase the High-Lifter rear spring to help increase the load carrying cap of the single rear shock.
