1999 Trail Blazer warm starting problem
#1
Hello,
I have a 99 250 Trail Blazer that will start just fine when cold but is very hard to start when warm. Has good fire and is getting fuel. The only way I can get it re-started when warm is to take the plug out and burn it off with a lighter, it seems like it is flooded but not sure.....not sure if the lighter really helps, may just be coincidental. One other thing, I thought it was the carb...not the case, the carb is clean.

did you check your float level? if it is slightly off it will let fuel run into the cylinder. also check your choke cable free play. should be 1/8" of movement on the end of the chock lever before it moves the plunger
