WITH IN THE FIRST 20 MINUTES I RIDE MY 300EX EVERY DAY, WHEN I PULL IN THE CLUTCH AND PUT IT IN FIRST IT JERKS AND STARTS TO ROLL ABOUT 3-4 MPH. DOES THIS HAPPENN TO ALL 300EX'S? OH ONE MORE THING, I KEEP MY IDLE UP HIGH BECAUSE IT DOESNT LIKE TO SAY RUNNING IN THE COLD. WOULD THAT BE THE PROBLEM OR IS IT SOMTHING MAJOR?

You need to adjust your clutch look in your manual.

Sounds to me like if it does'nt like to stay running in the cold you need to rejet it.
Not all 4 strokes are exempt from the winter conditions, try switching a size up on the main jet, (ex. if its a 180 to size up you'd get a 190 or 200). This will give you more feul so your machine won't starve.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Your clutch needs adjusted!

As for jetting, you need to bump up the pilot jet one size (not the main jet!) Don't touch the other jets.
