Default Help me Diagnose this problem. 98 Warrior.

I am having problems with my warrior actually fireing up. If I crank on the electric start it turns over but doesnt fire up. And unfortunately i do not have a pull start. It is almost like the battery is ****, but it is only about 3 months old. If I hook jumper cables from my car to the battery it fires right up. I do not get it. I know its probably nothing to big, but i figure i'll ask on here. Your all usually pretty helpful. I can tell the difference in the speed it turns over when its being jumped and when its not. Obviously it turns over much slower when not being jumped. I've also just recently 2 months ago replaced the stator, so i know its not that. I'm not completely excludeing the possibility of getting a falty battery, but let me know what you all think. Mark

If you hooked a car battery to it very long you made need a new one anyhow. I found personally that it is just toooooo many amps.

Um, no. There is NO harm in jumping an ATV with a car battery, and do not argue, the issue has been thoroughly exhausted on this forum. Anyhow, put the battery on an overnight trickle charge and make sure it is full of acid/water. If it still will not start after that then you have a bad battery.

It is pretty cold here. Around 0 degrees. That may just be my problem.

Once it warms up it should start. The battery could have a weak cell
