sluggish 400

Default sluggish 400

i have an 07 rancher with 90 hrs on it it has started bogging down when ever you try to take off really fast if u let off it will straighten out it is as if it is flooding. i put b 12 in the ful cleaned the air filter and replacedc the plug. any suggestions

once its at speed and you rev it out does it bog down then too?

you could check the compression... though i would hope in a year and some change that would not be the issue.

Has it been sitting for a while or anything like that?

i boght it 2 months ago with 55 hrs on it . it ran fine it has 90 hrs now it runs great once u get it going but if u r taking off at the bottom of a hill or really get on it from a stop it will bog down. it seems to be more of a fuel problem maybe the carb

it takes off fine. the only time there is a problem is at low speeds when u try to really get on it

Never mind, I thought it was a 420 EFI.

The is the 400AT automatic??? I bet your trans is having problems....
