Ok so I've had this ATV for about 8/9 years and as the years have gone on I've noticed its performance has gotten weaker. Now its at the point where i push the throttle/gas all the way and it like hesitates to move (goes a little bit then stops/goes weak) and then it keeps doing that and if i hold the throttle down maximum and dont let it go for a while, it will shut off. So why isn't it moving? It just hesitates and stops hesitates and stop, till like once in a while it'll work, then it'll do the hesitating thing agian [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] HELP PLEASE!! (btw its automatic transmission)

 

Could be the belt stretched or clutches? OR the way you are describing dieing down could be engine related?

 

does it rev up ?

 

If the motor revs up like it should sounds like clutch/belt problem...
