1990 Blaster had compression but not any longer
#1
Just picked this up would not start found that the woodruf key was sheared off and therefor out of time fixed that and it fired right up went to adjust the carb it died would not restart have spark getting fuel but no start.. put in a comp. gauge kicked it over got 35-45 psi cold does not seem like enough, where did I loose my comp? what should I do next... welll what I did was pull the head and on the piston it looks like it shows 2.00MM and 573p and H34A6 on the top of the piston
who made this and is this oversize?
thanks very much
also would the reeds have anything to do with this ???

your reeds could hamper the compression. take the carb out and the reeds are right there. pull the cage then look in and see if you can see the piston. slowly turn motor over if you cant. if its scored up then prolly needs a top end.
the 2.00MM does mean its bored 2 over stock bore.
