Default 2005 EFI 500 Sportsman

I know this is not a new problem- I could not find my answer searching old threads.
My 500 efi quit the other day, low mileage, (not exposed to any moisture- southern AZ), the fuel pump does NOT start when I turn the key on. Is there something else to troubleshoot before I replace the fuel pump & tank? Is there a fuse?
Any help will be appreciated - I am lost on this thing.
Thanks

you can get a replacement fuel pump from napa...do a search on here and the part number will come up...much cheaper than the whole tank assembly polaris wants you to buy.

have you checked for spark while turning the motor over? air filter in good condition.
you could take a test light and start tracing wires from the fuel pump to wherever they end up to see if power is still there.

if this is an efi then there should be a fuse or circuit breaker for the fuel pimp. make sure you test it for power before you go to replace it. here is the post for the fuel pump.
