Default Gearing/auto problem?

Got a 125 semi-auto 3-2-1-N-R, Reverse is fast and strong but when you put it in Forward it doesn't wanna start going(throtles high)..allmost have to push it to start it... Like its starting to roll in 2nd or 3rd gear.. Theres only one forward shift position and it drops into it. Gets to good top speed quick after its rolling.

And ideas???

Sorry for missing this Swampwood Did you ever figure this out? The 125's overall are geared to high...3rd gear is almost useless but Ive never heard of no power in 1st.

Nope.. Have not fixed it yet, guessing the only thing to do is replace the whole engine/trany.

I believe it's only got one gear, haven't opened it up or sent it to shop yet.

There are a few kids quads Ive seen that are single speed...but mose of them are 110's...I was thinking maybe it goes into 2nd not first...but if its only got 1 forward gear. hmmm..
