Default Warrior motor side case removal

I recently got a 2001 Warrior and one of the sprocket cover mounts had been broken and patched with some epoxy. If i were to get a new side case, how hard would it be to pull the old one and install the new one? would the motor have to come out or can i just get by with it still installed? Any tips would be appreciated

Man I wouldn't mess with it as long as it isn't leaking very bad. A lot of warrior's have that problem and most people just patch it. The motor would have to come out, you have split the whole engine and transmission. Your looking at a lot of work

Well I still had the pieces that broke off the case so I used JB weld to hold the pieces back in place. Depending on how big the hole is you may be able to use JB weld to fill it.

yea that is common on warriors mine was like that JB weld didnt work all to well but they make an epoxi that bonds to those cases better then JB will but i forget what the name is, i just welded mine back together.
