I have a 2002 sportsman 400....and was reading in the forums that you can use Napa#338 U joints.....

I live in Canada, but when I called Napa....They didnt have a listing.....

were the napa #338 Federal mogul...?


I also read something about neapco #(5-170x) works? But I gave him that number and he gave me another number cross referenced to 1-0170

1501 will not fit will they??(they are for rear shafts in a 700)

 

The best way is to take the old joints to a bearing shop( just two caps and the cross) and they will measure them. I did this a couple of times and saved about $55 per joint. I never was smart enough to keep the box or write down the number, just wanted to get it fixed and ride

 

Aww ok, Does bearing shops, usually carry U joints

 

Have you tried ebay? Cheapest place I have found for u-joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, etc.
