Default Best aftermarket CV boot guard for Rancher 420 4x4?

So I tore my outer CV boot. To replace the boot was a nightmare. Turns out you need to remove and disassemble the entire axle. Honda designed it so that the outer CV joint (wheel side) cannot be dissasembled therefore you are required to remove the inner boot (the differential side) disassemble the entire inner CV joint so you can slide everything off the axle from the inner boot side. Oh yeah and getting the inner CV joint/bearing assembled off the axle was a pain in the butt. Ended up needing a pully puller to pry it off the axle. The repair/service manual mentioned nothing about needing a pully puller. So if any of you out there need to replace your boot you will need a pully puller. Finally the new CV boot kit from Honda cost $45 dollars. Given the price and time needed to make this repair, it seems logical for me to spend $70-$100 on a good set of guards. Anyone out there have a set on their 4x4 Rancher 420 that work real well? If so please share with me the details. Thanks in advanced.

Moose makes great CV boot guards, and skid plate kits.
