'04 Sportsman 700 Front Diff Oil?

Default '04 Sportsman 700 Front Diff Oil?

Changing the fluids on the 700 and the book calls for a polaris brand hub oil, do you guys have a suggestion of something equilavent?

no someone told me once to use atf and my hubs didn't work very well, i've stuck with the hub oil ever since and haven't had a problem

imo stick w/ the proper polaris oil in the front end/hubs and you'll have no issues.

Call Amsoil, they have synthetic oils that meet or beat Polaris. I switched to all amsoil fluids and have had no problems after several rides.

Use the required hub oil to ensure the 4X4 works corectly in the future. Engine oil is fine to deviate to diferent brands but not the hub oil.
