Engine cleaning

Does anyone know what is the best thing to use to get mud off there engine,without hurting it,thanks for your help

I use soap and water.

i use a low pressure power washer and for the knoks and cranies i use soap and washer and a small brush

How do you get inside the fins on the motor??

take your quad to the car wash, not the kind with the brushed but th kind where u take the sprayer. first soak it with engine or tire cleaner. then use the high pressure soap, then high pressure rinse. you can clean your whole quad like this. it works awesome i've done it many times.

I use ZEP soap and a tooth brush to get around the fins. After I get the engine clean I spray silicon all over it, gives the engine a real glossy shine and provents the mud from sticking.

on my DG bumper and on my clutch cover and other flat spots i use Mother MAg alum. wheel polish,my Dg will look awsome by spring if i keep polishing it!
