HEY EVERYONE IM BACK! Well sometimes (actually it has only happened a few times, mostly when cold) on my RancherFE when im in Neutral and I rev. the engine it will display a MPH, but 95% of the time it just comes up as zero. Is this a problem? What causes this?
Thanks

This is the first time I have heard of this problem. Is the Rancher still under warrenty? If so take it to the dealer & have it checked out.

Otherwise check you two sensors & make sure that are secure.

Prob just electrical interference or something, I don't think I would get too excited about it. if you have a newer Chev vehicle try reving it up in neutral and you should see the same thing

Sounds like an electrical problem, Maybe a short somewhere, wouldnt get to excited but definatly get it checked out as soon as possible. Even if its just asking the dealer (who should know if this is a common occurance) you are better off than just ignoring it. It could be a symptom of a bigger problem, although I doubt it.

if the sensors are right next to each other (almost right on top of each other when you stop) then when you stop and there's even a vibration, it may think that you are moving because the sensors are sending signals to each other b/c they're so close to each other.(and moving slightly back and forth)
