I'm in the process of building up my 400EX motor and wonder if it would be wise to address the clutch while I'm at it. I'm installing a 86mm 10.6 JE, HRC cam and WebCam hard-faced rockers. I already have a e-series silencer and K&N filter. Should I get a new clutch basket? What's going to happen if I don't do anything to the stock clutch? If it doesn't matter much, I'd rather spend the money on other parts.

all depends on what your going to do with it.
but if is not worn it should hold up pretty good for just about anything you need it for
