Default Ideas on wheel wobble 800efi

Hello all.. I have an 05 sportsman 800efi that I wrecked last year. The bike went barrel rolling down hill. I have just gotten around to fixing it, got all visible damagedparts replaced, took it for a short spin & the right rear wheel looks & feels like it is wobbling. I park it & then smell plastic heating up. Pop the right side cover off & exhaust is almst touching side panel. I am wondering if the engine slid to the right on impact... Can it be adjusted? And could that cause the wheel wobble? Any sugguestions are appreciated.

Might have broken motor mounts or the frame is tweaked.

and you may have warped the whel as well. try changing wheels side to side and see if that side is still doing it or if it moved to other side to elimenate the a bent wheel at least.

They had some problems with broken motor mounts on some of the 05's. Could be a motor mount, frame, exhaust mount bracket or something else that has bent. I did not smell burnt plastic when my motor mount broke on my 05. Regarding the possible bent wheel. I'd do what Stendori suggested.

The only motor mount I see is on front of engine ... Is that the only 1 ... It looks fine. On the wheel, great idea , but I didn't think u could warp aluminum, or am I wrong.... Guess it wouldn't hurt just to be sure

Couldn't a bad bearing cause that wobble?

I just got an idea, I haven't tore into the rear at all yet& trying to find some pics just to see how it all went together, so I pulled up the sticky on cv axle removal, the hub looks like a really weak point on this set up, especially bearing the fact it is not designed to take blunt force from the side . Anyone ever see one if those bent 1/2 inch or so ?
