Hey Guys

Just wondering if you think my diagnosis is correct, my quad works fine but won't start with electric starter, clicking noise coming from small round metal thing close to battery. Tapping the starter motor doesn't help. I think the solenoid must be shot, this should be covered under an extended polaris warranty right?

 

to check the solenoid, just (w/ the key on)jump the 2 big cables on the solenoid and if the starter works it's a bad solenoid. if it does not start and still clicks then the starter is the issue. this is assuming the battery is fully charged and you have good connections.
