Default 2001 Polaris Trailblazer 250 bogs out.

Last Friday me and a couple of my buddies took the wheelers out. I have just put an FMF Fatty on my bike. still need to jet the carb. anyways it was a pretty warm day and everytime my bike sat idleing and i would take off it would bog out, it was acting like the choke was on. so could anybody help me out? also is there anything i could do to gain low end torque besause it can barley climb any hills on it's own power. Thanks

Sounds like the buttons are bad in the secondary clutch, their not letting the clutch back shift, thats why it wont pull hills.

In the handlebars their is 2 vent lines for the gas tank and carb. Mine were getting filled with grease from the grease fitting right there and it was killing my fuel supply making it bog out. All I did was pull em out and cut a little bit of the hose off. Never had a problem since

first thing,..jet carb to work with pipe,...then may need to change springs or weights on clutches,to match carb an pipe upgrades,...what size tires???

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

CLutch it to the pipe and while your into the clutches change the rear ramp buttons.
Clutching I would recommend Polaris yellow primary spring ,S53 or S55 weights and a Aaen blue or HPD violet or Polaris gold secondary spring set at 2-2.For a higher engagement and harder acceleration go with Polaris or HPD brown and S55 or S58 weights.

I had the same thing happen to my 2000 250 trailblazer. It would start and run for about 15 mins and then bog down and shut off. It would not start back until you let it set for approx. 15 mins.

There is a 1/4" oil tube that comes off the oil injector and it goes to the port in the engine block. This tube breaks over time and needs to be replaced. Take the carb off and you will see the tube that I'm talking about. I replaced it for 50 cents (tube from Lowes) and the bike runs perfect now.
