I have the ring and glass off but i cant get the cluster out of the housing. any ideas?


I have read that there is a diode that blows or needs resoldered on most of them. i figure it is broken now so why not try and repair it

ok, you work the ring form the backside till you get it off. then lift the guage face to reveal 3 screws. remove them and it pops out.

 

How did you get the ring and glass off? Mine is so faded I can`t read the odometer/ trip meter. would love to just replace the clear plastic.

 

just work it from the backside with a screw driver all the way around a few times. it was not too hard.
