have a polaris 90 atv.... it starts off carb cleaner but kills itself almost immediately and wouldnt rev at all. so i took the carb off figuring its the carb that needs cleaning and found it spotless. i left the carb off abd sprayed carb cleaner directly down the intake without that carb on because that should make it take off.... it bogged just as much as when i had the carb on. it refuses to rev up.... i need to have this running today.... help?

 

change the plug

 

alright. it has good spark but the plug is pretty nasty...

 

did you take the carb apart and clean out all jets and passages? how old is the gas?try new plug

 

Is there a rubber boot between the carb and the motor?
It may be sucking air in there(cracked/loose) instead of taking the fuel in directly from the carb......Caper.........
