just picked up my rubi on the 27th of last month, been rideing with 4 frineds with ranchers and ya know.. The rancher is narrower so it snakes threw tight stuff (and fits in my toyota) better than my Rubi. the rubi is very sporty but the rancher is just a tad lighter and more of a recon on steroids than the rubi is.

I would consider it if the dealer gives you a good price on the Rancher. The Rubicon steers easier than the Rancher +++++ more power!!!

You can never have to much power!

If you can afford the difference in price do it!!
The Rubicon is a better quad than the Rancher in everyway you can measure with almost no drawbacks. I think it only weighs about 60-70 lbs more.
Go for it.
