My 11 Y/O Daughters rides a 2005 polaris phoenix 200
It was running pretty good till we went Trail riding. Roughly One hour into trails, It started losing a little power she said Noticed on hill climbs, Then it got to the point of when you try to throttle up it would bog down and die Unless you let off the throttle. I got it home Disassembled the Carb and Cleaned WELL. everything is Clean and Clear. Now it started right up But the idle is ALL over the place and it pops out the exhaust when the idle drops. -It popped a little after a hard acceleration when running good before-
I turned the idle screw No difference unless you turn out a full turn, then when the idle drops on its Own it will die. But starts right back up. It runs rough like its flooding or running out of gas and idles radically up and down.
Newer gas with (red) Fuel Stabilizer,Air/Fuel screw at 1 turn out. Cleaned air filter,Choke on/off doesnt make a huge difference either. can it be Leaning out due to a Air Leak/Vacuum Leak?? Where should i look?
It gets great gas flow it has spark -Obviously-it runs.
But i am at a Loss. Trying not to light a Match to it.
Any help would be Greatly Appreciated...
