Belt for AC 375 4x4
#1
My pops is headed down south for week or so and I asked him to drop hjs wheeler off so I can look at it. It is a 2002? 375 4x4 and has never had major any work other then oil and filter changes.
So I was thinking it is time to check the belt, miles are @ 2400.
He has the original tires worn off from running to the fields on the pavement. It has been a good bike for him and he is not to hard on it, but after 10 years and 2400 miles I'm sure a belt would not hurt, and a good basic checking over. I have a service manual for it too, but just had a couple questions. I see belts on ebay for $40 for Dayco and $60 for a top cog Carlise, Oem is $150 OMG, So definitely thinking aftermarket, should I go top cog or not?
Also anything else common that goes on these? This one has solid rear axel not independant.
I'm going to change all oils and all filters, put on newer tires and a new belt (and what ever else I notice. Anything else I should look closely for?
