Default 99 sportsman 500 wheel locking up

I recently bought a Polaris sportsman 500 4x4. It runs and drives great but sometimes the left front engages into drive while set in 2 wheel this makes it hard to steer. I can usually get it to disengage by putting in 4x4 and driving it a little bit then putting it back in 2 wheel drive. But it's getting real annoying and I want it fixed. Any help or suggestions will b appreciated. Thanks.

Change the front hub fluid first and see if it helps. Also if either hub is dry,you might have to replace hub and strut seal along with checking out the inside of the hub(bearings, hilliard). Just see if any evidence of leaking behind hub or strut. Usually the cause of this is the armature plate becomes magnetized and even in two wheel drive awd on that wheel can kick in. Can be dangerous if you are at high speed and this happens! Check it out asap and use Polaris branded hub fluid! Also best to replace both armature plates as the other side will usually will do the same shortly! OPT

I changed the hub fluid along with oil and trans. Took it out riding for a couple hours in and out of awd. Ran great no problems. But the next day I was moving it in garage and driveway it started happening again. So I guess I'm gonna have to tear it apart but I have a busy schedule and don't know when I'll get to it.
