Running bigger tires on a Scrambler 400?

Running bigger tires on a Scrambler 400?
I was looking for some advice on after market clutches, and belts for my 96' Scrambler 400.
I was looking to run 25" inch tires on the rear, and 26" inch up front..
Is it even posiable to run this size of a tire on the stock scrambler transmission??
Or would I be farther ahead to swap out to the HI/LO xpoler, sportsman trans before I attempt to run bigger tires?
