Default 84 Honda trx200 disconnect ignition switch

Ok, so my key is gone, no idea, however my understanding is that i can still start this beast with the pull start by disconnecting the ignition switch.

So what i need is some direction on where to look for the harness. I can see the wires coming out of the key switch running down along the handlebars with about four other wire groups and then they all go into a rubber boot.

I dont see any harness connections under the boot, am i in the right pace and just not digging in enough to this boot (kinda hard to get to) or is there another location i need to look for the harness i need to disconnect?

you should be able to just splice a toggle switch into where the ignition switch was

for an '84 i would assume that its a simple keyed switch, two wires, snip snip.

Two connectors should be black/white wire and a green wire disconnect them that bypasses the ign switch

I was just working on a trx300ex I think 2000 and the 2 ignition wires connected fired it up. Not sure if they create a ground or a power to the cdi.
