The spring came off and I cannot seem to remember how it goes together, any ideas?

Two things.
By any chance to you have the whole shop manual?
Do you know what lube I should use for the kick start\starter gears (maybe 3in1)?

Thanks,
John

What year is your bike ? I have the manual for the 2001 50 & 90 (which should cover 2001-2003), and the manual for the 2004 50 & 90 (which should cover for 2004-2007).

I don't have a clue what to lube it with. I just got an 04 Predator 50 that I'm starting to work on. I've got a few things to learn, too

I have a 2007 Polaris 90 Sportsman. I found out the WD40 and graphite chain lube will work. I service manual would be great! We purchased this quad used, and is need of some service of the primary, starting system, variator whatever it is called . When you hit the starter button, you can just hear the starter spin. In addition the kick start wouldn't retract back up. After removing the clutch cover I found two screw heads, then removed the variator is saw that the one clutch is where the screws belonged. Thus causing the starter gears just to spin w\o engaging the variator

We are a quad offroad family for about 4 years now. I have learned a lot over the the years, and a lot about carbs! All of the atv's we purchased were used (4 of them), and always needed work. Now I am diving into primary starting system and CVT's, watching a lot of videos and reading as much as I can. Just couldn't afford to have all of the serviced.

The wife and I finally got a pair of new 420 Ranchers with a 5 year warranty! The kids, well get used quads until they stop growing, then can buy their own .
