05 sportsman 600 / cooling fan won't turn off

05 sportsman 600 / cooling fan won't turn off
All help will be appreciated. Fan runs all the time. Have to disconnect battery. Machine overheated on my last ride. Ever since then its ran . Any ideas??? I bought it 8 mnths ago wrecked. Ive heard that the 600 has issues with cooling. How can I fix this and antbody know how to clear the codes. Battery disconnect dont work. Thanx

If the fan runs constantly either the thermistor wire is disconnected or the thermistor sensor has shorted out. Item#26. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
Shows two different sensor according to build date. If not sure, type your VIN # here and see if it helps. VIN located on the front, etched into lower left frame behind the a-arm. Polaris ATV, RANGER Side By Side Vehicles
