2006 honda rancher electrical problems

Cool 2006 honda rancher electrical problems

I got a 2006 Honda rancher with a manual transmission thatis having some weird electrical problems. When you turn the key on the neutrallight comes on but when you push the start button the solenoid clicks but theengine does not turn over. You can start the atv with the pull start and itwill run but the lights flicker and go dim and then back to bright. I puta new solenoid in the atv and have checked the starter to see if it works andit does anybody got any ideas what it can be?

Battery? loose gound? does ohter lights get dim also or just neuytral lite?

The other lights do go dim with the neutral light. When you pull start the atv the neutral lights flicker and go bight and dim.
