Question 650 Prairie belt squeal.

Have a 2002 650 Prairie.Had a belt squeal when you first took off.Replaced belt.Same thing. Is there a thicker belt I can use?Or is it easier to remove shims in rear pulley?

There is no thicker belt. The right way to correct the squealing noise is to either remove the shim(s) in the rear driven converter (to make the belt tighter), or install a new belt.
