now i have a nother one put a new battery in my1993 polaris 250 2 cycle 4x4. and when i push the start button all i get is a click from the solenoid that is right next to the batterry (the pos wire that comes off the battery goes right to the solenoid) if anybody can help thanks

Check that you have voltage on the other solenoid post when you hit the starter. If you have 12 volts to the starter side,possibly a bad starter and/ or starter bendix.You can also jump the posts with a screw driver to see if the starter is ok. Starter's located on the bottom of the engine.Cheap place here to get starters if needed. Plus look at the manual link I listed about the starter and bendix.DB Electrical - 250 Plus for other parts,Cheap Cycle Parts usually has the cheapest oem parts.
