I used the search function to find info about 4 pin CDIs and wiring but have only found 5 pin info. On my grandson's quad, the starter works great from the starter button, but there is no spark. When I took things apart, I thought I marked everything but there is a brass connection on the coil lead that I cannot find anything to connect it to. I'm guessing it is a ground or kill switch of some sort. The connector is crimped around the outside of the wire coating. Picture attached (I hope). So I have some basic questions if anyone can help. Who makes the Zacka[IMG][/IMG]l for manual purposes? Does anyone have info on how to test a 4 pin CDI, single lead coil and the stator ( I read somewhere that the 4 pin used DC power).
