Ranchers vs. trx300
#1
Hey guys,
i have a question about the ranchers in comparison to the 300's. I know they won't make the 300's in 2001,but my sister wants to get a atv and i told her to go for the 350, but she wants 300. which do you think is a better bike. we do a lot of hill riding. do you think the 350 might be too much bike

Hey, tell your sister the Rancher has more suspension travel, steers easier, can get electric shift and speedo. My wife thought it might be to big but now she is very glad she has the Rancher and she says she feels more confident riding now than when she had the Recon. Your sis will love the extra power!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my two cents: my buddy rides a 300, I've got the Rancher. With the exception of getting "high centered" on a log and having no front wheels pulling me over, I've gone everywhere he has. My bike is also faster.
I've found the Rancher to have exceptional balance when working hills and steep trails. Everytime I've been bounced up in the air I land, .. rubber side down.
Add to that the ES shifting and instruments and it's a hard combo for the 300 to beat.
