Drum won't go back on

1997 Suzuki King Quad 300

After changing the brakes the drum is now too tight to go back on.

I would open the bleed screws and compress the brakes. Should be able to fit then. And then you'd have to bleed them again. I am not familiar with the 97 King Quad so this may not apply.

Are you sure the shoes are on correctly...they can be a real PITA...otherwise I'd ensure you have the correct shoes...

The drums actually get larger in diameter over time...and yours is no spring chicken...
