Default spun bearing fix? worn case half pto side

ok, so im in the middle of this build and I want to know what the best method of fixing this problem is aside from getting a new case. Both pto bearings spun in the case. there is a definite ridge between the bearing seats (where the outer races are supposed to interfere with the case.) I know there are several methods of fixing this. , ie peaning the surface, locktight, sleave retainer. or just slam it back together and hope for the best. What should i opt for "OPT"? what would you do in this situation? if i pean it and lock tight it i think ill be ok, as long as the center line on the crank stays true. This really wasnt evident untill i washed the **** out of the case halves.

Default Here is a pic

Im pissed but not surprised that it spun in the case. You can see the ridge between both bearings.

Loctite sleeve retainer 640 would probably hold it as I've used that before and it works, but you can peen it also as a second step.
