Default 2" receiver hitch on a Sportsman

I have seen various ideas and I"m sure I have taken bits a pieces from all to build this. What I like about this one is you can remove it by taking two nuts off and remove the pin. Feel free to to use any part of it for your design. Of course the safety chain holes I need to finish drilling out to 1", radius the corners and paint. I'm pleased how it is going to turn out, several hours of time and less than $30 in parts.

Nice project.....with all the 2" accessories on the market, I dont understand why Polaris ever decided to go with 1 1/4" reciever?

Looks good. When I had Polaris' machines I often thought about doing something like that. Looks like it will be good and sturdy too.

I've got one of these, and it works just fine for what I need, but I really like your extra bracing. I bet it is very solid. Nice work!
