Default 2010 Sportsman 2" Receiver Hitch???

Hi, Does anyone know where you can get a 2" receiver hitch for a 2010 Sportsman 550? I just got one and do not like the factory hitch. I did a search in the forums, but couldn't find anything. Thanks...

Are you talking about the hitch insert?? If it is 2", you should be able to buy them anywhere. They are common.

That is, if it is the common style all trucks use.

I am really looking for something that replaces the existing one or utilizizes it to become a 2" hitch, but not just an insert that takes it from 1.25 or 1.5 now to 2" I have seen some made by Kolpin, but can't figure out if they fit the 2010. I sent Kolpin a message, but thought I would ask the folks here. Thanks!!

Default reciver adapter 1-1/4 to 2"

Here is what you need ..Remember this will go from 1-1/4 to 2".
this is used on cars or trucks to allow and carry towing assessories like bike racks, rear cargo racks...etc....
They make a note telling you this does not increase you 1-1/4 hitch ratings!!!!
It's price here in Canada is $39.99
...........Hope that helps........Caper......

It may be fun for you but there's not many people that can make something that professional looking. Great job.
I have a insert to increase the 850 hitch to 2 inch's, it sticks back to far, drags to much and acts like a lever when the haul rack has a light load, front tires come off the ground to quick on steep hills.
