Can anyone tell me what type of motor this is and what harness+ cdi is needed? Its chinese for sure. Never seen one like it.

Well the problem is that i dont know what size the important parts need to be. Like the cdi box (which is 5 pin), or the voltage regulator,. But ive been reading a lot of articles here on atv but i just havent seen very many like mine. Thats why im inquiring about sizes ect. The old harness got cut off cuz it was just.....no good! So if you or anyone else has any pointers or a direction to point me in it would make my day.

Apache used that engine in 90cc form for years, I think they still do (they always called it a 100). Polaris fitted it circa 2000 to 2006, and a host of other makers. I got an Armstrong with that engine, going a couple of weeks ago, it hadn't been used for ten years. With a new battery it fired up no problem, though fuel and oil had been drained before storage, which may have helped.
Most of those universal harnesses are for Honda clone engines. Someone may make one for the Minarellis, but a quick Google didn't turn anything up. You could fit a complete harness for an Apache, or two stroke Polaris but that is going to be expensive. I have a wiring diagram for a no name machine with that engine, not sure how to upload it as it is .pdf
